how to logon to your carefree desktop (windows xp client)

this procedure takes 2 easy steps:

1. connect to the carefree desktop 'broker' i.e. the gateway to all your carefree services
2. connect to your carefree desktop

step 1: connect to the gateway

in your internet browser, go to portal.exitevdi.nl:

we suggest you add this url to your favorites.

now, login with your personal credentials and connect to the 'broker':

your browser now enters this screen with the choices assigned to you:

step 2: connect to your carefree desktop:

click on the carefree desktop button.

the logon window for your carefree desktop appears:

Please note: If you see a checkbox "Remember my password" do not check it, logon will fail if you do.

you may get a warning like this one:

if this is the case, just click the 'connect' button:

now just sit back, relax, and watch the connection with your carefree desktop being established.

this may take up to one minute, depending on traffic and band width.

that's it!

your carefree desktop is ready for use!
